from 306 reviewsThese are a game changer. Weather walking my dog, running, playing soccer or just because - These ninja party Flipmits are the way to go. They are very soft and warm. Customer service it top notch. I made a mistake measuring my hands and ordered the wrong size. After sending an email. I was contacted by Matthew A who took care of me. I couldn't be happier (and warmer)...
As advertised. Perfect for outdoor activities.
Pros:
- Switching between the modes is super quick and handy. I can quickly check my phone or change a layer.
- The material is warm enough to keep my hands warm in freezing temps.
Cons:
- The material is not breathable enough and in the "closed" mode my hands become sweaty quickly.
- In order to fully cover the fingers, you are forced to make a fist which is not always comfortable.
Bottom line: I'll grab the flipmits in 90% of my runs.
Super cool looking and keeps my hands warm
I love them ,this is my second pairs
Great multifunctional mitts 🤘❤️
Excellent product and fantastic customer service!!
I originally bought these for my father, who has Parkinson's and neuropathy.
As a result, his hands are frequently cold. He can't really hold handwarmers, and heated gloves only heat the tops of the hands. Plus which he lives in Florida, which makes it weird to be walking around wearing gloves all day. I was so excited to send him some Flipmits, and he loves them. He wears them as sweatbands, and when his hands get cold, he flips them over, or if he's really cold, he turns them around and tucks a handwarmer into the finger pocket. They've been a great help to him!
Me, as a runner, I clearly needed a few pairs as well. I love them, although I fall into the category of too large for a small, too small for a medium. Oh, well. They're perfect running gloves!
These are great especially in this transitional weather time! Good for those days with a cold start and eventually flip them open and use them to wipe the sweat away!
Really happy with my purchase. Easy to take on/off and transition compared to traditional gloves. I will be using for my marathon later this year.
I got these because I love my original weight flipmits, and I have Reynauld's syndrome. I thought thicker would be better. I will probably use these more to walk the dog (need to flip to pick up the poop) instead of running (where eventually my hands sweat and then need to be aired out). I think they are a little stiffer than the original weight. I am a convert, though. FlipMits are easier to deal with than gloves/mittens. I used to layer them and then worry about dropping them when I switched configurations. These don't get dropped because they stay put on the wrist. (If you get really, really warm, you could take them off and stuff them in a pocket, but at that point, you wouldn't be dropping them because you wouldn't have clumsy cold fingers)...
They provide the little bit of extra warmth on the chillier days.
Not as soft as the original but great at keeping my hands/fingers warm!
Had the first cold run on the year with 32F temps and blowing snow. The Flit mits worked as advertised. Started the run with the mitts deployed keeping my hands warm and out of the elements, as I warmed up I opened them up they vented some heat but still kept the rest of my hand covered. It was just the right amount of coverage. The soft material was warm and worked great to wipe my face from the snow. the fact you can change up the coverage makes them so versatile. might needs to get me a second pair. if you run in colder temps this is for you.
Exactly what I needed. Great fit and provides the perfect amount of warmth.
I inevitably start my runs freezing. So I put on all the clothes, and head out. Then 10 or 15 minutes after getting up to speed, I am a sweaty mess. So I start adjusting and taking off layers, and try to attach items without slowing down. Once I took off a favorite pair of gloves early in a run, and looped them in my fanny pack strap. Then it got colder, and I couldn't find them. I ran 8 miles trying not to freeze. Flip mits solve all these problems. The are warm when I need really warm mittens, enough when I need a little warmth, and out of the way when I start sweating. All without slowing down, or adjusting fanny pack/running vest. Flip Mits rank high in two of my favorite categories: Cozy and Convenient.
