All-Season Flipmits — Raynaud's version (Shopify)
All-Season · For hands that run cold

Warmth you can put on one-handed

If your hands go cold and numb before the rest of you does — Raynaud's, neuropathy, scleroderma, or just hands that run cold — you already know the problem with gloves. They're a fight to get on when your fingers won't cooperate, they cut off at the wrist, and you have to take them off to use a phone or a keyboard. Flipmits open at the fingers and flip closed in one motion, so you cover up or free your hands without a struggle.

Fingers free

Fingertips free

Covered hands, open fingertips — type, drive, or scroll without taking anything off.

Mitten mode

Flip to cover

One motion pulls the pocket over your fingers when a flare starts.

Sweatband mode

Park at the wrist

Keeps your wrists covered indoors and stays with you between uses.

Towel mode

Layer up

Wear under a mitten on the coldest days, or on their own around the house.

Soft on skinBrushed bamboo face — no seams or scratchy trim against sensitive hands.
No tight cuffStretch knit stays put without squeezing your wrist.
Traps warm airCovered mode holds your own heat over the fingers, where it matters.
Wear all dayBreathable enough for indoors — desk, car, grocery aisle.
One-handed onPull on and flip closed without help from your other hand.
Machine washableWash warm or cold and wear again — no special care.

Wash instructions

  • Wash warm or cold with similar colors.
  • Tumble dry low or lay flat to air dry.
  • No bleach, no fabric softener — it coats the fibers and cuts absorbency.

Why bamboo

  • Holds warmth in the cold and breathes indoors, so you can leave them on.
  • Naturally odor resistant, so they stay fresher between washes.
  • Renewable fiber, shipped in minimal packaging.
  • Flipmits are comfort apparel, not a medical device — check with your clinician about your own care.
SwapShop

Too big? Too small? We'll make it right.

Flipmits fit differently than traditional flip mittens. Old-school mittens are bulky on the back of the hand — Flipmits are low-profile and built for all-day comfort. Mitten mode is meant to be worn with relaxed hands, with enough stretch to reach your phone or watch without taking them off. If the whole thing runs too big or small, swap it. If it's only the pocket that feels short, that's the fit working as designed.

The pocket has a second job

Drop a hand warmer in the flip pocket

The same pocket that flips over your fingers holds a standard air-activated hand warmer. It sits against the back of your hand — over the knuckles and vessels, not squeezed into your palm — so the heat lands where cold hands actually need it and your fingers stay free.

  • Fits a standard disposable warmer — nothing proprietary to buy
  • Fleece sits between the warmer and your skin
  • Works with all three weights
Read the hacks
Hands in Flipmits resting with a book on the couch
1 · Flip the pocket out
2 · Warmer goes in
3 · Heat on the knuckles

Follow the warmer manufacturer's instructions. If you have reduced sensation in your hands — common with neuropathy — check the temperature with an unaffected area first and don't leave a warmer against skin you can't feel.

Questions we get from cold hands

Which weight should I start with?

All-Season for most people — it's the year-round middleweight. Hyper-Lite for air conditioning and sun, Heavyweight for winter mornings and unheated rooms.

What size should I order?

Sizing runs snug, so many customers size up. Measure across your knuckles and check the full chart — see the size chart. Exchanges are free through the Swap Shop if the fit isn't right.

Can I use them with a hand warmer?

Yes. A standard air-activated warmer drops right into the flip pocket and sits against the back of your hand, over the knuckles. More on that and other tricks in cold weather hacks: smarter ways to use Flipmits.

What's the exchange policy?

If they're way too large or too small overall, go ahead and exchange them. If it's just the pocket that feels too short, it may help to read the explanation or watch the video first. Return your Flipmits in their original condition — original packaging, unused, unwashed, unaltered, free of pet hair — within 14 days and we'll issue a full refund minus shipping. International orders, orders past the 14-day window, and items marked Final Sale aren't eligible for a return or exchange. Full details at the Swap Shop.
